This two-quarter course offers an exciting investigation into the elements of design and how they apply to art creation, art history and theory. Students will explore multiple art medias in the application of projects, exercises and studies of artists that came before them. Art lectures will be provided. Students will learn to plan, propose, produce and critique artwork from stills, models, and from their imagination. This course meets the GUHSD graduation requirements for Fine Arts and meets the UC/CSU Fine Arts “F” requirement.
